“Grab life by the balls”

“Grab life by the balls”
A very interesting and straight to the point quote by when I look around me not many people take in that advice.
In order for you to succeed or get better you have to take the risk. You got a job promotion and need to relocate? Go for it. You need to work out to be better fit? Do it. You want to start school again for your passion? Why not! The little things that we continue to push off are the reasons why we stay stuck in a loop of the same events that happened at the same exact time Mon-Sun.
Why not take life by the balls and see where it takes you!?

Why New Years Celebration?

I got a great question the other day from my brother: “Why do we celebrate New Years? It’s just another day,” and I honestly couldn’t answer. Why do we celebrate? Yes I know it is celebrating the last day of the Gregorian calendar and to say goodbye to the new year but when you really look at it, it is an opportunity to start over.

And no I don’t mean start over financially or with a clean slate, but starting over mentally and emotionally. I realized that when you have a deadline or goal to finish what you need to do or just make it to that point it gives life just a bit more of purpose.

Although you felt like you didn’t have such a successful or eventful year as you thought you would, the point is that you made it through the new year safe! Starting a New Year gives you an opportunity to start your mindset over to beginning new and better habits.

If we didn’t celebrate a New Years, our days, months, and years will just feel like an endless cycle that cannot be broken, so as the New Years comes put to bed any negative behaviors or habits to bed and prepare for a bigger and better new year.

Puerto Rico.

Puerto Rico. My island.

Not many people are aware of how powerful and strong the people of Puerto Rico are. They’ve been through many hardships with mother nature and although you see that it is destroying part of their community, you still manage to see the community get together in these hard times and support one another.

This I believe can be a lesson to other countries across the world. No matter what BS you encounter, you can always count on your community members to support and help you through those stuff times.

This is also a lesson to those unaffected of these hard times. Although you did not endure pain or suffering from what occurred, does not mean that you can’t take some time out of your life to help others in need. Sometimes just being there for others and letting them know that they are not alone is enough.
